The SlinkySkin brand started in 1997 when we were in the Netherlands and Carol worked for Demask.
Carol learned her skills there and we are still loyal to Demask and when we cannot supply something, we always recommend them.
We moved to Sweden in October of 1997 and thats when SlinkySkin the website started, it was originally going to be called hoodwinked! The idea originally was to give Carol something to do whilst we moved around Europe with my IT business. SlinkySkin grew initially with the very nice help from Alexander Horn (www.l-a-tex.com) who we will forever be in debt to. The rest is pretty much history we have at times pulled away from the Latex world and concentrated on Media production but we have always come back to what is in fact our core business. As an aside I can remember 3xL starting off and asking us for a link which we did do.
We came up with some new ideas like the megaboobs, ballhood, balloonbody and ballbody! which in reality have made our name and seperated us from the other latex clothing producers.
The big change is that we now use a supplier who makes outfits to our design and we inspect every item before its despatched. It was just not possible to compete or grow with out this step. We have had some great feedback from customers using our new supplier and they are very happy. Carol still makes outfits mainly for us but also makes special custom outfits and is considering starting a business making Latex Wedding outfits.
Since returning to the UK from Australia, they have diversified into a sales site, and specialist sites for vacuum beds[1], ballet boots[2], a latex ppv site and a free latex archive
