Ballhood
A ball hood is a type of inflatable hood. It is tailored such that at full inflation, the wearer's head will be shaped like a sphere. It is used for sensory deprivation play.
Ball hoods are made of two layers of rubber between which air is pumped to induce pressure. The inner layer is normally made of thinner rubber to spread the pressure evenly around the head. The outer layer may be made of thicker rubber and is designed to from a sphere or ball.
An opening at the bottom fits around the neck and may be locked in place with a zip or a buckle.
A breathing tube is essential to allow air inflow. The pressured air bubble provides excellent sensory deprivation and great bondage. It is not recommended to use this type of hood without a partner to ensure safety.
