Asymmetric bondage
This article uses material from Wipipedia website
Asymmetric bondage is a type of sexual bondage in which the bound person is tied in asymmetric positions. This has a disorienting effect, confusing the body's self-image and sense of balance, and hence increasing the psychological impact of the bondage.
Asymmetric bondage is a common technique in "Japanese bondage".
A common technique is to make the person stand on one foot and bind the other leg, for example with an ankle to thigh bind, or even behind their back to their throat.
Tying a persons head in a stringent "head back" position so they are staring at the ceiling is another example. This position will cause the bound person to lose their sense of "up and down", similar to vertigo or vestibular ataxia.
