Biography
Early life
Cruz was born in Stockton, California, to Filipino parents, who raised her Catholic. She attended a Christian school, where she was involved in many activities such as cheerleading, drama club, yearbook, and journalism. At age 17, she graduated high school in the top 5% of her senior class and later moved to San Rafael, California, to attend Dominican University of California, a Catholic college, where she majored in print journalism. She later transferred to San Francisco State University in her sophomore year.
Adult industry work
In October 2003, she broke into the adult entertainment industry by way of an amateur producer in San Francisco, where she did her first girl-on-girl scene for AsianDivaGirls.com. She was just a month shy of turning 19 years old at the time. In May 2004, she made one of her first notable movies for the reality porn website Bang Bus; she appeared as "Kyra. By June 2004, she moved to Los Angeles, California. Since her debut in the industry in 2003, she has appeared in over 400 movies. An extremely versatile woman, Annie has done many things throughout her career. Personal life
At the beginning of her career, Cruz was in a living relationship with another woman. Their relationship ended in April 2004. Two months later, Cruz met husband Jack Lawrence in June 2004. They married seven months later at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas for fans and the entire industry to witness. By June 2006, they divorced. She has since been dating an Iraq war veteran.
