Serenity (born October 29, 1969) is an erotic dancer and pornographic actress. She is sometimes credited as Serenity Wilde.
Adult film career
Born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Serenity began exotic dancing and, drawing on her ballet training from her youth, later won the 1993 Topless Dancer-World Championship in Las Vegas. Serenity has performed at four major Las Vegas hotels. She started appearing in adult videos in 1992, appearing in the picture Jennifer Ate for Wicked Pictures. She spent time in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and attended Smithfield High School.
Serenity was one of the longest-tenured contract stars at Wicked Pictures. In her five years there, Serenity became the first and only person to date to win back-to-back AVN Awards for Best Actress, winning in 2000 for Wicked Picture's Double Feature and 2001 for M: Caught in the Act.
Serenity has many mainstream credits including numerous hosting segments on the popular E! Channel Wild On series.
Serenity started Las Vegas Novelties, a company that makes various sex toys, stating: "I wanted to endorse some sex toys and ... I didn't like a lot of the toys that were out there". All of Las Vegas Novelties products are designed or endorsed by prominent porn stars, such as Jewel De'Nyle, Kylie Ireland and Jacklyn Lick. After a successful six years, Serenity sold Las Vegas Novelties to Pipedream Products.
In September 2004 she announced her retirement from performing in adult movies. She continues to run and update her personal site, www.serenity.net.
Serenity is a vegetarian, and always tries the local vegetarian cuisine wherever her busy travel schedule takes her.[1]
