Transmuters are the "Original Transforming Alternative" boot. They were designed and created in London by Terry DeHavilland. Later on 'The Stranger' took over Transmuters and improved the soles, and offered more types of Transmuter Panels.

Transmuters were cleverly conceived knee-high boots on stacked soles with attachment points for a wide variety of panels and tongues. Transmuters can have their appearance changed in a few moments by removing one set of panels and replacing them with another.

They have 5 adjustable straps with buckles on both sides. They were available in other styles over the years, but are now available in knee-high, cranked heels. The toe is a 3" platform, the heel 6" platform. The sole has Transmuters molded on the bottom.

A lot of people think they run small in sizing, but in fact, Transmuter has its very own sizing system.

EXAMPLE: Transmuter sz. 6= a US 7 or UK 5 (women's).

So, it is best just to ask for your US/UK size, but if you are buying from us we already convert the sizes for you.

Transmuter Mark 1 Boots are only available as a Limited Edition vegan boot, as a 'Thank You' from The Stranger to all of the loyal customers. So, they are running out fast. They are now affordably priced so everyone can have the Original Transmuters, not the fakes.

Transmuters and panel accessories are no longer being made; however; eBay is a good source of second-hand boots.
