The Creators of Rubenesque Latex
Doll Hart discovered latex early in 2009. She quickly fell in love with the unique sensation of wearing latex and the pure sexiness of the material. Determined to conquer the stereotype that curvy girls shouldn’t wear rubber, Doll purchased her first sheets of rubber. In 2011, she founded Rubenesque Latex, a company focused on creating beautiful, sexy designs for confident, curvy women.
Rivengurl joined Rubenesque Latex in 2012. Drawn to latex for its ability to flatter all sizes she too hopes to help break latex out of its fetishised box and introduce more people to its unique feel and many qualities. With an eye for detail, fashion and creative concept she focuses on business, accessories, overlay, shoot directing/MuHA and stage coaching.

Rubenesque Latex focuses on creating unique, beautiful, quality latex clothing for everyone. Founded on the belief that latex can look beautiful on all figures, the designers strives to overcome the stereotype perpetuated by the majority of latex companies that latex looks best on traditionally marketed bodies. We believe that all women can not only wear latex, but that all body shapes deserve stunning clothing designed with them in mind.
Rubenesque Latex also endeavours to make latex more accessible to the public by focusing on mix and match designs and colour pallets. They recognizes that latex is an expensive investment. However, by creating designs that can easily be matched with other pieces, the variety of designs makes it possible to create multiple phenomenal outfits out of only a few items of clothing. At Rubenesque Latex, we hope that sexy latex clothing can become an affordable and diverse part of your closet.
Chlorination
Rubenesque Latex also offers chlorination, a finishing process that turns static-prone, difficult to put on latex into an almost satin-like material. This process eliminates the need for lube in both ease of dressing and shine. The elimination of silicone lube means you can now dance with the sexy man in leather without the fear of destroying his pants. Rubenesque’s finishing process eliminates all fear of greasy trails and ruined furniture, resulting in ease of mind for the wearer.

Overlay Process
Overlay latex is a unique process that allows for patterns to be overlaid on to latex permanently. It can be done in almost any shape, Logos, hounds-tooth, Swirls, Lace, etc. and comes in a wide range of colours. You must choose to have your garment chlorinated if you want Overlay; it is essential to seal the pores of the latex to lock in the pattern.
Some tips if you get overlay:
- Don't pick at it. This is a hand done process and while its very sturdy don't pick at it.
- Avoid excess rubbing and stress to the pattern. This is no different from normal latex.
- Other than that, it's the same as other latex.
