Joan Rydell worked a s a burlesque dancer and fetish/bondage model for Irving Klaw. She also worked for Lenny Burtman (Exotique Photo Album Number 2 [Burmel Publishing, late 1950's]).

Joan Rydell was born in Pennsylvania. Joan also used a modeling name of Eve Rydell and modeled for many magazines early 1940s until mid 1950s. Magazines such as Titter, Flirt, Wink, Beauty Parade and Whisper, Beauty Parade, Frolic and more. She also posed for Irving and Paula Klaw as Joan Rydell.

She is portrayed by Dillon Thomas in the movie: Bettie Page: Dark Angel (2004)

She married one of Klaws photographers,
