Injection
An injection is a method of putting liquid into the body with a hollow needle and a syringe which is pierced through the skin. It is a common method to administer liquid medication or nutrients to a patient, and often called a "shot."
Types
Types of injection:
- Intravenous infusion
- Subcutaneous injection (e.g. under the skin of the upper buttock)
- Intramuscular injection (e.g. into the gluteal muscle)
Injection pain and phobia
An injection is painful and many children develop a fear or phobia of injections. This can in some cases lead to the development of a medical fetish on needles and injections.
Injections and spanking
Stories, videos, photos, drawings and comic strips on the subject of injections have their own fandom.
Despite the different subject - injections are a form of medical treatment while spankings are a form of punishment - there is some overlap with the fandom of spanking art, videos and literature. This is probably because the subjects have several things in common too:
- an authority figure and a protagonist who is made to submit
- fear of pain/humiliation
- undressing/bare buttocks
- pain inflicted "for one's good"
Spanking artists who have also done injection art include:
Occasionally, spanking and injections are combined in a spanking story. For example, in chapter 24, Vaccinations of Melody's Stories.
