House is a child's let's pretend game that is a precursor to role playing games. Where the players have an opportunity to play a role different from one they normally play in real life family. Typically the two children might play husband and wife (this is an age progression role-play) or they might play parent and child. This latter one might even be used when a parent plays with their child as a role reversal role-play. It also covers one of the children playing the role of the family pet.

"House" and spanking

Many children might incorporate the child in the role-play being naughty, and declare the child needs a spanking. This spanking is normally a play spanking. This game is often favored by many young budding spankophiles.

In most cases, the child will emulate his/her parents in the method the spanking is delivered. This would include lecturing, position used (OTK, bare, etc) and even corner time.

In the absence of a human playmate, children will also often use dolls as characters in their roleplaying games such as "house". Many dolls are designed with baby-like or child-like features, so these suit very well as child characters, allowing the real child to play adult characters such as the doll's parent or teacher. See children spanking dolls for more on this.

"House" in ageplay

Adult Children can play this game among themselves if their ageplay guardian is not available. It can also be a set up scene which leads the one or more of the Adult Children to commit an offense, such scenes play spanking is too rough or inappropriate leading to Guardian intervention.
