Classmate
A classmate is an acquaintance that is due to sharing a teacher at the same time you have regular contact with. Sharing a learning experience can lead to friendships on the other hand you typically have no say in who you share a class with.
Classmates and spanking
Schoolchildren who are still learning to cope with others with incomparable personalities often clash disruptively with classmates who they have no choice in having to interact with. This will often lead to the student being punished for disrupting the lesson or even outright fighting often along with their classmate. In schools that use corporal punishment either of which are normally considered sufficient to warrant its use. If publicly spanked in front of the class, then the witnesses will also be classmates.
