We are very pleased that Bobbie Tawse agreed to an interview for our first issue. If you aren't familiar with Bobbie, she is the owner of Dropseat Productions, which offers adult jammies and clothes for the little girls in us all. Ms. Tawse is also the star of many of Shadow Lane's spanking videos.

There are so many resources about age Play on the Internet, including websites like yours. Do you think Age Play is more readily accepted within the BDSM Community, or do you think it is more misunderstood than ever?

While I don't believe the Age-Play fetish is misunderstood, I don't think it's completely accepted in the BDSM community. I think we all have a ways to go with regard to acceptance.

What is your favorite part of being a little girl?

Being taken care of is what works for me.

Do you incorporate other types of BDSM play into your life along with the age play?

Yes, yes, yes! If you've read my bio (on my website) you know I'm into a lot of things. I love spanking first and foremost. To that, at different times I like to add what I call the spices . . . . a little bondage play, a little enema play, age play, anal play, diapering. If it can work with spanking play, I've probably done it.

How is your age play or littleness enhanced by other forms of play? Or is this not the case for you?

I'm not sure I understand this question.

Since my core interest is Spanking, I'm usually in a fairly little-girl head space anyway. Also, my specific need is for punishment so --- Little girls get spanked and if they don't take their spanking well, they are put into bondage. Little girls who pretend to be sick to get out of a spanking, get their temperature taken (anally). If they aren't sick after all, not only do they get their spanking but they also get an enema. -- Every other form of play takes me further into that little-girl, helpless state of mind. Thus, enhancing my play.

 

For those who don't know Bobbie Tawse, how would you introduce yourself to them?

Hi, I'm Bobbie Tawse. I've been into Spanking as long as I can remember. I'm also into other fetishes (see above) mostly as a submissive (though I don't like that word). I have topped a little but find that I don't enjoy it quite as much. My counterpart would have to be self-assured and enjoy being in control (at least for a little while). I'm an artist at heart and have enjoyed many forms of design including dolls, clothes, purses and hats. I have a website on which I offer fun fetish stuff and for the last few years, I have also been sewing little-girl dresses for adult boys and girls.

 

The theme of our first issue is an introduction to the world of age play and Daddy/little girl relationships, how were you first introduced to age play? Was the idea of age play gross to you, or was it something you were always fascinated with?

I don't think I was introduced to age-play; I believe I was the one to introduce it. In my very first relationship, I was about 16 and he was a lot older. I think he responded to me like a child because I nonchalantly pushed him in that direction.

 

What, if any, advice would you give to someone who is seeking to explore the little girl or Daddy inside?

Do it!! Life is too short. Write ads, answer ads, go to parties or gatherings where you have a good chance of meeting a playmate/partner. Be smart about meeting strangers, be careful but DO IT.

 

What do you think are some of the biggest misconceptions about age play, and D/lg relationships? How do you think we can help to dispel these misconceptions?

Don't understand this question so I'm answering it in two parts.

In the world at large, I think the saddest misconception is that we are pedophiles. I remember telling my sister about my fetish many years ago. Her response was fear for her children. Wow! That just broke my heart. Dispelling such notions lies in education.

A huge misconception within many fetish relationships is that the play can be done 24/7. Ha! I've been in several fetish relationships and want, rather demanded, that we live the lifestyle. Well, it just isn't realistic. To dispel this, we just have to get real.

 

What is the name of your website, and how did you come up with the idea to start such a site?

Glad you asked! www.bobbiesdrop-seats.com. ( X Site down ) The drop-seat jammies started it all. I'm originally from the East Coast and I hated the cold weather. Also, I liked to be spanked but, because I was usually cold, I didn't want to be completely undressed. Also, if I have to go potty in the middle of the night, I had to pull the top part of my jammies down - I hated that! The solution to all my cold-weather-want-to-be-warm-and-still-get-bare-bottom-spanked misery --- drop-seat jammies! The department stores only carry them for x-mas and they always had some x-mas or wintry print. I need my drop-seat jammies starting in late September through April. Couldn't get them in the department stores so I started making my own. Then my good friend said, "you should sell these" and I did.

 

How did you become involved in spanking videos, and how much fun are you having done something that you obviously love?

Oh, this is tricky! My husband and I have been doing the spanking videos for about 2 years. I love spanking but doing the videos is a lot of work. I think my husband really enjoys making the videos since he gets to do a lot of the spanking. I mostly do behind the scene stuff.

 

There are some age players who do not incorporate any type of sexual interaction within their relationships, especially while in their little headspace. What age do you find yourself portraying most often, and is sexual interaction a no-no for you, while in a "little" role?

When I first came out in the scene, I couldn't mix play and sex. I'm over it now. Now the play is total about reaching sexual release. When I was younger and newer to the fetish world, I couldn't admit or in any way reconcile the two. After all, how could my daddy also do me?? You live, you learn, you grow and you start admitting that you do like sex.

 

What is your favorite implement for spanking and why?

Oh, this one is easy. I love the belt or strap or TAWSE! I love leather implements. I find wood is just too brutal. The hand is okay but it's just not enough long-term. Leather is just luscious.
