  • Absinthe is a live show that premiered in 2006 and is playing on the forecourt of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, after opening on April 1, 2011. Paul Carr of The Huffington Post proclaimed, "If I could only see one show my entire life," he said, "I'd want it to be that." It was also called "The Greatest Show In Vegas History" by Las Vegas Weekly.
  • Cabaret Red Light was a theater group based in Philadelphia that performed vaudeville, burlesque, spoken word and puppet theater, set to original music by The Blazing Cherries. In their first season, between November 2008 and July 2009, Cabaret Red Light staged the series "The Seven Deadly Sins". Their second and third series ("The Experiment", about a cabaret that builds a time machine, and "The Seven Deadly Seas", a pirate and gypsy-jazz show aboard the barquentine Gazela) began in 2010, and they recently performed the premiere of their ballet-and-burlesque version of The Nutcracker based on E. T. A. Hoffmann's original Gothic short story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King."
  • The Casino de Paris, located at 16, rue de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement, is one of the well-known music halls of Paris, with a history dating back to the 18th century. Contrary to the name, it is a performance venue, not a gambling house.
  • Le Crazy Horse Saloon or Le Crazy Horse de Paris is a Parisian cabaret known for its stage shows performed by nude female dancers and for the diverse range of magic and variety 'turns' between each nude show and the next. Its owners have helped to create related cabaret and burlesque shows in other cities.
  • Enter the Night was a first of its kind on the Las Vegas strip. With a 62 member cast and a complete overhaul of the legendary Stardust Hotel theater was required. Replacing the Lido de Paris, the 90-minute, non-stop extravaganza seduced with song, magic, beautiful topless dancers, ice skaters, circus performers, tap dancers, women motorcyclists, live music all with the creator’s tongue planted firmly in cheek.
  • Folies Bergère is a Parisian music hall which was at the height of its fame and popularity from the 1890s through the 1920s. As of September 2020 the institution is still in business.
  • Jubilee! was a Las Vegas Strip-based spectacular revue. It opened on July 31, 1981 at an initial cost of 10 million dollars and was originally produced by Donn Arden. Donn Arden set the standard for all the spectacular Las Vegas shows that celebrated female beauty, in combination with a demand for only the best; in costumes, sets, and talent.
  • Le Lido is a cabaret and burlesque show located on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France. It opened in 1946 at 78 Avenue des Champs-Élysées and moved to its current location in 1977. It is known for its exotic shows including dancers, singers, and other performers.
  • Minsky's Burlesque refers to the brand of burlesque presented by the four Minsky brothers. They started in 1912 and ended in 1937 in New York City. Although the shows were declared obscene and outlawed, they were relatively tame by modern standards.
  • Moulin Rouge (French for Red Windmill) is a cabaret built in 1889 by Josep Oller, who also owned the Paris Olympia. It is recognized by the facsimile of a red windmill on its roof. It is a tourist destination offering musical dance entertainment for adult visitors worldwide. Much of the romance from turn-of-the-century France remains in the club's decor.
  • The Olympia commonly known as L'Olympia or in the English-speaking world as Olympia Hall) is a concert venue in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, France, located at 28 Boulevard des Capucines. The hall was opened in 1893 by one of the two co-creators of the Moulin Rouge venue and saw many opera, ballet, and music hall performances.
  • Paradis Latin is a theater at number 28, rue du Cardinal Lemoine, in the Latin Quarter of Paris. It was first built on the rue des Fosses-Saint-Victor in 1803 and called Théâtre Latin. It burned down in 1870 but was rebuilt on the rue du Cardinal Lemoine, as Paradis Latin in 1887–1889 by Gustave Eiffel. It was closed around 1900 but was rehabilitated, starting in 1973, and reopened, in 1977, as a cabaret.
  • The Sirens of TI was a free nightly show provided by the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The show entailed a group of sensual and tempting sirens engaging with a band of renegade pirates led by the infamous Blackbeard. The show closed in 2013.
  • El Tropicana Night Club in Havana, Cuba, located in a lush, six-acre (24,000 m²) estate tropical garden opened on December 30, 1939 at the Villa Mina in Marianao.
