A posture collar is a rigid collar that is wide enough to reach from under the chin to the shoulders. It significantly restricts neck movement and forces the wearer to adopt a heads-up posture.
This type of collar promotes a sense of pride in the wearer. Many doms prefer their subs to be "proud" of being under their control.
The sub may be degraded, tried, or humiliated but it will not hang its head. It will consider the gratitude of its dom as an honor.
