Eugène Déte (1848-1922) was a French engraver and illustrator.
He was mainly known for mainstream book illustrations and landscape art, but also illustrated at least one spanking novel, Étude sur La Flagellation a Travers le Monde by Jean de Villiot, published by Charles Carrington in 1899.
