In the United States, a Go-Go bar is typically an alternative term for certain sorts of strip clubs.
In Southeast Asia, and particularly in Thailand and the Philippines, Go-Go bars can include a wide variety of venues with dancers and/or hostesses, which typically do not offer striptease. These are most often venues for prostitution, and the dancers are often available to be bar fined by customers.
