1950s
In the 1950s, there were no "true bondage magazines". True, Irving Klaw was selling 4x5 and 8x10 photos of females in bondage, and he was selling bondage stories on 8x10 photo stock, but the golden age of the "true bondage magazine" had not yet arrived.
Many of the "Mens magazines" of the day would have pictures of an occasional drawing or picture of females in bondage, but again, they were use to illustrate a story. Irving Klaw and his Movie Star News would hire models and sell the photos by advertising them in mens magazines, so there was a lot of cross-over between bondage modelling, fetish modelling and burlesque dancers.
