John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy The young Kennedy couple was one of the most appreciated relationships across America due to their simple and beautiful love. The photographs they were in together showed them holding hands and kissing, and soon people were admiring their elegant romance.

Unfortunately, they died together on the same day, along with Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s sister, Lauren, while they were on a helicopter, flying to Martha’s Vineyard. When their jet failed to land on schedule, it was declared lost.

Everyone was shocked when the news broke, and search efforts were immediately launched. By July 19th, 1999, the plane’s wreckage had been located in the Atlantic, and 2 days later, all 3 remains had been recovered.
