An artwork is any work of art, though the term is mostly used for two-dimensional, non-photographic visual art (i.e. drawing, painting, and so on).
The term artwork is often used in printing and webdesign, referring to illustrations and other images to be integrated with text in the layout of a page. However, artwork can also be published without any accompanying text.
