"Hiring models"
I have always (as far back as I can remember) had an interest in tying up girls.
One method of implantation is the "I am a Bondage Photographer, and I would like to photograph you."
This usually triggers "What is that?" and/or "Why me?" responses.
After a protracted conversation during which I would explain money, safety, money, costumes, money, safety, and more about money, they would quite often agree.
I then found that ads in various adult newspapers carried advertisements. Most of them turned out to be not worth photographing, or they were a thinly disguised ads for prostitution.
I decided to turn this problem around to my benefit. I started a company called "The Bay Area Models Exchange". I started placing ads in mainstream papers looking for models of all types. During their interviews, I would ask what their desires and limits were.
I worked to get referrals in newspapers, magazines and even a few TV slots for those interested in main stream modeling.
Those interested in adult type photos, I would place them, but in adult magazines as well. With some of them I was even able to find work for them in various adult companies.
If they showed an interest in bondage photography, I would introduce them to a small circle of friends who were also interested in bondage and/or photographers.
I even dated a few of them personally.
One of the people I met during the BAME days was loRRett, who later went on to run 'Fantasy Makers' in El Cerrito.
