Hisharta (Russian: Хишарта) is a fictional country where corporal punishments are quite common. It was created in 2003 by the Russian author known by the nickname Kuno. Later, other Russian-speaking authors from Russia, Great Britain, and Israel continued with their stories what is now known as Hisharta Cycle, and finally, Hisharta became a genre of spanking literature in Russia favored by many readers.

Setting

Hisharta is an island state located right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the only surviving part of the disappeared Atlantis. The Hisharta world was deliberately developed by Kuno in his vast essay Flagellation in Hisharta, with a detailed description of its history, geography, language, society, and what is more important — corporal punishment traditions. Hisharta is an open genre — other authors are welcome to continue the existing series with their own stories under the condition that they stay within the earlier developed Hisharta world.
