In 1998, I was holding club events and classes in my home. I had taken up my camera and was doing a fair amount of bondage photos for a couple of magazines in LA. Sara came down from Santa Rosa to take a couple of classes in bondage, decided that she really wanted to be a [[ProDom]] and we opened the Middlefield clubhouse.

Middlefield was our second clubhouse in Mountain View. At 1700 square feet, it was a little on the small side, but it was adequate at that time. We had one small, private session room; two semi-private session rooms; a staff lounge, and an office.

In 1998, I was holding club events and classes in my home. I had taken up my camera and was doing a fair amount of bondage photos for a couple of magazines in LA. Sara came down from Santa Rosa to take a couple of classes in bondage, decided that she really wanted to be a ProDom and we opened the Middlefield clubhouse.

Middlefield was our second clubhouse in Mountain View. At 1700 square feet, it was a little on the small side, but it was adequate at that time. We had one small, private session room; two semi-private session rooms; a staff lounge, and an office.

Incidents that come to mind and bring smiles.

  • During this time, Susan was teaching school and I was working 80 to 120 hours per week at Microprose in Alameda. When my car died, I replaced it with another Lincoln and put 'WBMSTR1' license plates on it. I was SCM and Build Master on a flight simulator: my "Pilot Name": Master, of course! For a while, we had over a dozen 'perverts' working for Microprose, and they didn't even know... MicroProse was bought by Hasbro for $70 on 14 August 1998 and we finally shipped Falcon 4 in December 1998.
  • For my birthday, Una and her dance troupe performed. Joyce did a marvelous dance.
  • Maddie, Jackie, Elizabeth, Ayla, Abby, Joyce, Cassandra, Violet, and all of the other ladies on staff that made BackDrop Club a possibility.
