"A story about Robin and Klaw photogarphy"

In the late 1950's, I was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, Va

On one of my outings to New York to visit a friend named "Tom" (name changed to protect the guilty<g>. I had a real 'change of life' experience.

Tom: "You're in Navy, right?"

Robin: "Yep"

T: "You know all about knots, right?"

R: "Yep"

T: (Very agitated) "What do you know about bondage?"

R: (Very, very bashful) "Why, whatever do you mean?"

T: "You know ---"

R: "Know what?"

T: "You know, tying up girls like in Detective Magazines covers"

R: "I've seen them. What about them?"

T: "I have a guy in New York that pays me to take photographs of girls in bondage"

R: "Yes -----"

T: "Well, I thought that if you knew how to tie knots, I would have you help me. The guy says he likes my photos, but that he would like to see more realistic bondage."

R: "And you want ME to tie up the girl so you can take photos?"

T: "Well yes, but I WOULD pay you to compensate you for your time!"

R: (Looking askance) "REALLY???? And how much would I get paid?"

T: "Well I get a hundred dollars per roll of film. I pay the model $25, the photo processing lab $25, and I get $50. I'll split my $50 with you."

R: (Incredulously) "You'll pay ME $25 for tying up girls so YOU can take pictures?"

T: "I'm sorry, but I can't afford any more"

To shorten the story, I soon figured out that if I did the photography, the photo processing AND I did the bondage, I could make $75 per photo session, which is about what I was being paid per month in the Navy.

I would then use my ill-gotten gains to hire more models, take more pictures and sell more photos to make more money. Ah, life is wonderful!
