An infant is a baby, a child too young to walk or to "toddle". The term is sometimes used more generally for any young child. In some older legal contexts, the term "infant" is used for any minor.
Infants and spanking
Occasionally infants are given a single smack to get their attention, but it is rare for an infant to be given an actual spanking, particularly in recent times.
Infants and ageplay
Infants are totally dependent on others for their needs. Because of this, age players, in particular infantilists, can find such a role to be either a form of complete submission or, particularly when a person is forced or commanded to assume an infant role, a source of major humiliation.
