Biography and career

Syren De Mer was born in 1969 in Bellingham, Washington, and later moved to and was raised in Yakima, Washington. Her first job was working as a gymnastics instructor. She grew up in the small town then moved to Seattle, Washington, where she went to college at the Art Institute of Seattle earning a degree in Photography. Syren De Mer began modeling right out of high school and have worked for numerous companies over the years, as well as working in retail management.

In 1994, she met her husband, Andre Darque, who introduced her into the BDSM, group sex, and swinging lifestyles.

In 2005, Syren sent a portfolio to Playboy. Although she was turned down by Playboy, Syren De Mer launched her first website, and started working in the adult industry full time. In the summer of 2006 she signed with Seymore Butts lighthouse talent, later to move on to Lisa Ann’s Talent Management. Later she was represented by John Baumgartner and Sandra McCarthy’s Nevada-organized talent agency OC Modeling LLC.
