Josh S and Karen F along with Herb C helped create the LAX Janus chapter, which later became "Threshold" in Los Angeles.
Josh was never a permanent Janus officer, while Karen F was the Orientation Secretary for four years. Because of their involvement with LA Janus, they were often present at business meetings and were very much involved in the day to day operation of Janus throughout most of the 1980s. Josh was also briefly the interim Program Director in 1982 or so.

Originally formed by a group of "Society of Janus" members in 1982, they changed their name to Threshold and "disassociated" from Janus in 1989.
