From Robin's online interview with Moraxian, 12/04/2013

Robin: Tell me a little bit about you, and when/where you were born, education etc.

Moraxian: I was born in February 1963 in the Northeast USA. He received college degree in mathematics in 1985 and moved to the Washington DC area soon after graduation.

R: What types of art do you do, your inspiration, favorite interests. favorite types of media and models, etc?

M: Primary focus of my bondage photography is damsels in distress/peril. Something akin to "the Perils of Pauline" or "Dudley Do-Right" scenarios, only with very modern ladies in the classic damsels in distress roles. The perils are upgraded as well in that the buzz saw doesn't look like it's out of a sawmill, but is instead built specifically for splitting ladies and half.

As for favorite media I am partial to photography, video clips are becoming larger part of my business. I am in the process remastering a lot of my original be shot a few years ago. The clips were originally released in 320x240 pixel size I am upgrading them to 640x480.

As for my favorite types of models, I look for ladies who can act until the story in the photos and videos without being able to speak (there gagged and pretty much every shot…)

R: Where do you find models?

M: In truth, most of the models I work with are models that I found models that have found me. They will contact me via model mayhem.com or fetlife.com (or both in some cases) and ask if I'm interested. I actually turn down more shoots than I take, not because of the ladies, but because of time. I don't have as many hours in the day as I have request for shoots for models.

R: What is in your future?

M: Right now the future is wide open. I'm in the process of finding a regular shooting space the somewhat local to the Washington DC area to schedule a regular basis. Studio used to using Jonestown PA is closing up after six years (the building is being sold) so I need a new home for the buzz-saw, guillotine, etc. I'm sure I'll find something at some point, I have a few leads. I am always looking for new models and help launch their bondage careers, as well as help working with the best in the business as I do now.

I also, of course, and hoping to keep the friendships I make in the business. I met a lot of nice folks doing this and I hope it continues.

R: Where do you post your work?

M: My work can be found all over.

M: I am always looking to help other producers out with selling bondage material at http://bondagetokens.com
