Mellanie Monroe (born September 14, 1976 in Houston, Texas) is an American pornographic actress and erotic model. She entered the industry in 2009 through fellow actress Adriana Deville, whom she met in Florida.
She had gone through a difficult break-up with her then boyfriend when she lived in her hometown Miami, FL. During this time, she met some people at Bang Bros. and Reality Kings, which intrigued her enough to decide to do "something crazy and new" in her life. She liked the casting and the cameras, and within a week she moved to Los Angeles.

Legal issues
In October 2014, NYPD detectives questioned Brooklyn, NY rapper Maino after Monroe accused him of roughing her up in a parked SUV outside the Griffin nightclub, a Meatpacking District nightclub.[1][2] Monroe had claimed to detectives that she suffered leg pain after the altercation in Maino’s car.[1] The case was eventually dismissed in March 2015 and all charges against the Brooklyn rapper were dropped after Monroe confessed that she made the story up.[2]

- Porn star Mellanie Monroe is terrified of the ex-convict and his associates after he was arrested Thursday on charges that he attacked her in the Meatpacking District outside the nightclub earlier this week. "She's really scared," Walter Newsome, a member of Monroe's legal team, told Page Six. "No one should have to endure such a barbaric attack." (Page Six).
The actress also said that she suffered pain in her leg from the altercation in the car.
