- Legends of Chicago - 2 .. Barb Steel, Mistress Vicki and 18 East Elm St
Today we start our series on the Legends in Chicago, starting with Mistress Barb Steel or Steele?
Barb was a professional Mistress in Detroit and ran ads in various publications. I contacted her but she never responded. She would travel between Detroit & Chicago. I heard she used to go to 18 East Elm St crowd, but not sure? More on that later.
I know during Barb Steels' travels to Chicago she became friends with Mistress Vicki, some say her last name was Gold, but there's also Vikki Gold, so I'm not sure if they are confusing the two? Barb and Vikki became lovers, as the story goes, at any rate, Vicki went to Fla, decided to come back after Barb wanted her to move back in with her. It took Vicki a while to think about it, and she said YES.
She was driving from Fla back to Chicago, Barb was looking forward to it, Vicki was killed by another car hitting her. Tragic.
Mistress Barb took her own life months later. Tragic also. The whole thing is sad.
